Project Rage ZA was founded by Mark Ramsing in July 2020

Having grown up in a household effected by extreme family violence and considering the impact on men, women and children, there was a strong conviction to stop lamenting and start acting.  We need to reshape our own perception of how we respond to Societal Challenges especially violence against women & children. We have to step up and take the lead.  If this generation fails, history WILL repeat itself and we will be accountable for every drop of blood that is shed and every sound that falls on deaf ears.  Blood curdling screams are horrifying but silence is where the real terror lies.

According to the online dictionary the word “Rage” is defined as:

  1. Violent uncontrollable anger

  2. A vehement desire or passion

We clearly understand that violence in any form is related directly to uncontrollable anger and in context especially violence against women and children.

When reference is made to the first definition its clear to say that in many instances there is:

“BLOOD ON MY HANDS”

Seeing that “RAGE” also means vehement desire or passion, this indicates that there is

“NO BLOOD ON MY HANDS”

What does FLIP THIS! mean?

It simply means that with the same fervency that one resorts to uncontrollable anger the narrative must be flipped to a vehement passion and desire to see that social justice is attained through creating a culture that refuses to accept that Gender Based Violence is entrenched in social norms.

Unless we meet this scourge of violent uncontrollable anger against women & children with equal passion and desire for change, we cannot possibly make a difference if it does not come from a vehement desire or passion against the atrocious injustice of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Violence against Women & Children (VAWC)
