Gm Account Compromised 1 Day Rollback

A GM account was compromised this morning at 2:00 AM and started dropping everyone's gear. I will be rolling back the database to 12/16/2009 4:02AM. We are really sorry for the inconvenience.

great to see that you guys are on top of things. hopefully the rest of the server has seen this thread so they'd stop panicking.

hope all is going well with finals and what not.

man ppl gain access to a gm acct then manage to get caught and get the game rolled back. If ur looking to have some fun u gotta be smart and sneaky about it..

wow.....to someone like me who started just yesterday, this new is quite shocking and discouraging......

I understand that the rollback has to be done, but I just can't stop being upset about it.

I should start all over again? darn.......

pretty sure my friend will go mad about it too. he started with me u see.....


the damn hacker has to be blamed I know....

but it's just too discouraging to keep playing.....

If you need ANY assistance leveling, I'll be home from work in about six hours and I'd be glad to help you. Don't be discouraged, I've been here less than a week but the players (for the most part) are very friendly. You'll like it here.

Yeap, I'm in the same boat as you are. No biggie really, although it is discouraging like you mentioned.

There was a rollback around the time I joined too, so I get how you guys feel. I would also help you guys out if I could, but I wont be able to since I'm going away for a few weeks in an hour or so. Good luck, though. =]

Oh man! This actually makes me feel so much better. I've been busy with school and logged in yesterday for the first time only to see a lot of people in Main chat totally convinced there'd be a complete wipe. They were making the GMs out to be pretty bad, and something about the whole thing didn't seem right to me, glad to see I was right! I actually had to logout, they were all getting quite annoying, trying to scare everyone off the server. o_o;
